calibrating speedo for t5 swap.
ok so i plan on doing a t5 into my 1992 Pontiac firebird 3.1 v6. the t5 and everything will be coming out of a 95 3.4 v6 car im worried it will read wrong so how do i calibrate it i am being told Dakota digital and some are telling me it isnt a problem cuz my car is probable cable driven i dont know please help thank you.

The 95 probably has a 17 tooth reluctor which is 17 pulse per driveline revolution.
The third gen had ~4004 pulse per mile signal which is a lot less PPM than the 95.
But, they're the same type of signal. So using the Dakota as a reducer in between the 95 VSS and the 91 VSS buffer box (which splits signal to the ECM, Speedo and cruise) should be all you need to do.

what do i get and can i keep using my auto pcm till i can get a manual memchip thingy
