B&M shifter install questions
Step 4.
The shifter park lock cable is to be disconnected permanently and tied off to the side out of the way?
In place of the cable we now use a switch hooked up on the shifter?

Re: B&M shifter install questions
You cut the 6 wire connector off the stock shifter wiring and connect the P/N switch and backup light wiring
to the 2 micro switches on the new shifter
Purple / green to the P/N switch
Green / blue to the backup switch
Tape the Org wire up to make it safe

Re: B&M shifter install questions
Thanks!!
Btw, is it normal for the shifter in rachet mode to recoil slow? I remember playing with it a few months ago right out of the box but it seemed to snap back faster.... Maybe it's the cold grease, it's freezing in my garage.

Its 20 degrees down here and my recoil is fast. How cold is it up there. Maybe wd-40 or maybe it needs broke in. The whole point is to have lightning fast shifts

Re: B&M shifter install questions
Been awhile since I worked on this thing. I had a cotter pin fly out and can't seem to find one missing... Wondering if this might have something to do with the ratchet being slow?? I'll try to pull up a pick from where it might be coming from.
