Re: My transmission rebuild complete

That's a start. I found that until I had the unit apart, it's hard to know what all will need to be replaced. The pump is crucial and if the unit has any miles on it, and if it has had friction material in the fluid, the pump case will probably be scored and should be replaced. Don't forget the servos that apply the 2-4 band. The vette 2nd servo is a good base level choice. Sonnax super hold is better and then there's the Superior 2nd servo with the Sonnax 4th servo that's the strongest combo of all.

There is so much to be done with these things. Mine is just about bullet proof now, but I'm still going in one more time to change over all of the thrust washers to Torrington bearings to make it just a little better, then I'll be done.
