LT1 T56 to LS1
I came here for some help setting up my LT1 T56 to my l98 and you guys were a great help in this thread:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tran...questions.html
I am now looking to change out the l98 for some version of an LSX engine. Is it at all possible to save the clutch and clutch hydraulics from my previous setup? I know that the LT1 t56 and LS1 t56 use different hydraulics as well as different input shaft lengths but can I make it work with one of those special bellhousings from Mcleod or another manufacturer?
Basically I am wondering what the easiest way to mate this 97 t56 to an LS series engine would be. I am really trying to avoid buying an LS1 t56 because this tranny I already have is in good working condition along with all the clutch and clutch hydraulics.
