Car: Base 91 'bird
Engine: 3.1 v6
Transmission: 4L60
Axle/Gears: 9-bolt 3.27 & PBR
Gear pattern marking compound clean up?

Got the gear pattern right on my 9-bolt rebuild. Does the marking compound need to be cleaned off or can it just get mixed into the oil?

you can clean what you can..but dont worry if you mix it with ur gear oil..its designed for that..u used the correct marking compound?

Yes. Got the yellow stuff from Ratech along with shims etc.
