changing diffs

I am changing my 88 drum brake diff to a disc brake. I bought a used one but just to check can someone tell me if it is a Saginaw or Borg Warner difff? I can only find the main number on the outside main housing that reads 22522676 with the other number K2. I do not find the other number that someone was mentioning that is located on the axle tube. I was told to get an aluminum rear plate with 2 rods attached in the inside to hold it better. This is for the seal. How can I tell what this 10 bolt rear is? Sorry about being vague but it is 4:00 in the morning here in Australia but I had to know. thanks for the help.
