Re: my trans rebuild.
A friend at work got a Monster in a box kit for the 4L60E in his Silverado. He rebuilt it last year and has been very happy with it. Said the parts kit was very complete, and the stuff was high quality. His came with an instructional DVD (don't know if he paid extra for it) he said it was really well done and walks you right through the whole process.
In the end, he says it shifts great, firmer than stock, and much stronger.
