stubborn u-joints

Anyone got any ideas for removing a stubborn u-joint? Can get this one to move even with in a vise.......arrgghhh! Don't want to hurt the aluminum driveshaft.....

Heat it up with an acyteline torch. That's what I had to do. Gm used some kind of goop in there and over 20+ years it gets stuck and hard and wont budge.

Heat them with a propane/mapp gas/oxy torch to melt the nylon retainers used to retain the caps. The new joints come with clips to hold the caps in.
