Anyone running a 3.90 gear
Hi everyone, I have a 91z28 with a t5 and I want swap rear end gears soon, Is anyone running a 3.90 gear from motive gear? I had a 4.10 motive in my 4th gen and loved it, I was wondering should I run a 3.73 or 3.90. I know a 4.10 would be too much on a T5 car. Let me know what everyone thinks, thanks. From what I understand, the t56 has a lower first gear than the T5 so I think traction shouldnt be too terrible on street tires.

Re: Anyone running a 3.90 gear
My buddy has 3.73s with his t5 behind a very hot 355 and its a fun car. Highway cruising kinda sucks with a gear that low since you dont have the double overdrive of the t56 but he manages. I wouldnt go over a 3.73 with the t5 personally but you might not mind the engine screaming on the highway.
