Rebuilding a 700R4
I picked up a 700R4 thats slipping for $50 and my dad is going to rebuild it. He's an excellent mechanic and he can do it in no time flat. My question is is there anything I can do to upgrade it? This is a DD car, so nice smooth shifting would be nice, and maybe a new stall converter? I'd like one that nets me a little better gas mileage. Most miles on the car will be highway miles. What do you guys think?

I have rebuilt 700r-4's ,4l60-e,4l65-e all at home so it can be done,I would install a Transgo Shift kit, beast sun shell, alto red or high energy Borg warner or the raybestos z-pack.
