86 t5 in 91 tbi auto
Ok I found an 86 iroc with the original t5 for sale cheap, its missin the motor but has all other parts. I'm wanting to put that t5 into my 91 camaro, its a tbi auto. All stock. Would I have to change anything on the computer or anything? I know I would have to hook up the neutral saftly wires. I'm plannin on taking the rear end and trans out and selling the car with my 2:73 one tire fire rear end. Lol

Re: 86 t5 in 91 tbi auto
also:
reverse lights
need a pilot bushing / bearing in your crank
park neutral switch wiring changes
manual PROM
you'll need a VSS since the 86 is cable speedo
console trim plate
I think the torque arm bracket / mount will work
Make sure it's a V6 26 spline input T5
A WC T5 would be better but a non-WC will work for a while.
And I'm sure I forgot a lot of details.

I often see people say all 86 models have cable speedos, but both 86 firebirds i stripped had electro speedos. both 85s had cable speedos.
