Re: TCC ki instalation?
What your looking at is JUST the solenoid, not the kit. The kit is closer to $90, comes with wiring, solenoid, vac switch, etc.
TCI is as good as any of the others I guess - they all do the same thing. I have the TCI kit, but I don't use the vacuum switch, it never worked well, and then it broke, so I gave up, and I just flip the manual switch when I get to highway speed.
The kit comes with install instructions - can probably see the instruction at TCI website www.tciauto.com - you have to remove the tranny pan to install as with all of them, except the $250 B&M kit that works off the speedo or something.

Re: TCC ki instalation?
Thanks I really would like to figure out how to do this without dropping the pan I plan on having my tranny rebuilt down the road and I probably would put a Kit in then. I have read that You can set up a toggle switch to activate the lockup manually but how would that work...? I mean ive read tht in town driving you rally wouldnt have to worry about it but if on the high way you would have to activate the toggle switch if you drove above 45 for a while.
