Transmission slipping

Im not sure what to do, if I should take my car into the shop or what but heres whats happening, It is an automatic transmission, when ever it shifts from first to second it slips unless I mash on the accelorator it also has trouble regulating the RPMS sometimes it will peak at 75,000 when I am not accelorating and sometimes it wont go over 20,000 and the car will struggle. This is with optimal fluid levels. Im just wondering if its gonna give out soon and also what to do about it, Im thinking about having it remanufactured but am not sure.

Re: Transmission slipping

thats amazing if your motor is spinning 75 THOUSAND RPM. i'm not sure if jet engines spin that fast.
anyway, in an attempt to help you out, most of the 700R4 (assuming that is what you have) are equiped with a TV cable. there is no kick down cable or anything else involved. the TV cable controls all line pressures and shift points for your transmission based on the throttle position. if that is set incorrectly, your transmission will not function properly at all.
a general rule of thumb to setting it: with the throttle all the way in the open position, the slack should be minimal in the TV cable. start there and see what happens.

Re: Transmission slipping

Oh yeah, it does 75,000 I uh got a nuclear reactor engine from some aliens and they helped me put it in, It runs on Uranium-238. I can usually go back in time in it too but I need a new flux capacitor.
