t5 removing tips?
alright. im ready to remove the transmission from the Camaro tommorrow.
someone came along and wants to buy it from me so i have to take it out.
before i try and tackling this.
what is the best way to remove the transmission with out having to remove the engine? i got most of everything unbolted. its just hanging there. i just got to remove the driveshaft and undo the bolts on the engine. im just woundering what is the easyest way to do it?

Re: t5 removing tips?
Unplug all sensors, disconnect shifter, remove all hydraulics.
DRAIN THE TRANNY, otherwise you will be laying in a big pool of tranny fluid.
A jack is nice and all to help, but to be honest, this tranny only weighs like 100 lbs. I easily move mine around my garage. The t56 is a pig tho....
Drop the tranny from the bellhousing.
Drop the bellhousing. Then reattach the bellhousing to the tranny, dont lose bolts...
Remove pressure plate + clutch...
Flywheel will be the biggest pain to remove. The bolts are low grade and typically melt when you use a wrench...An air hammer is advisable for this part...
Should cover everything... I hope.
