i have the transgo shift kit i installed but i would like to know the size,did the
boost valve assembly that came with the kit is it a .471 or a .500 i would like to frim up my shifts a little

mine came with a .500 but i asked for it...I know PRO BUILT would know the answer to this. Dana should be lurking around here, PM him. I'd like to know myself...like I said, i'm only an amature at this rebuild stuff-I just built my 13th 700R4 last night.

I built mine but i used the alto reds 3-4 clutch pick,but i found out those
are not good,also jegs has a .570 boost valve $33.99

The kit Performance Shift kit from TransGo for the 700R4 has the 4th gear modifications for a firmer 4th gear. You can go larger than the stated .155" feed hole for the 4th gear feed hole in the separator plate. I use .187" - .204". TransGo used this size in previous kits a few years ago. I would only do this modification that I suggest with a 10.5" or smaller diameter torque converter.

I will open the feed hole like you said because i have the continental 10 inch
