T5 pic request

Hey guys, I just completed the 700r4 for T5 swap and I am wondering if anyone has a pictured or diagram of the pushrod and spring assembly( The small golden rod and spring). I have no idea where they go and my haines manual just tells me to assemble them but doesnt really give me a good idea as to where they go. Thanks for the help.

Not sure what you're talking about? Can't think of anything quite like that in a T-5 system.

How about, you post a pic of the parts you have, and maybe somebody can tell you what they are, or if they're even part of the setup?

Re: T5 pic request

Nope; not part of the trans. Can't say I even want to GUESS what it's supposed to be.

Maybe it's your bonus "schmeckel".

Re: T5 pic request

looks like the pushrod for the clutch safety switch. install it if you ever plan on going to a track. they'll never let you on w/o it.

Re: T5 pic request

Oh, thanks for letting me know. I am definitely not hooking up the clutch safety switch so I dont need this part. As far as the track thing goes; the tech guys at my track are lazy so I am not worried. Thanks for the heads up, I am glad that I at least know what it is.

Re: T5 pic request

Yeah, the thing in the first pic is one of the variants of clutch safety switch. That pic wasn't there when I first answered you. The other thing that looks like a hook made from coat hanger wire and that little bitty spring, that WAS there originally, doesn't belong.
