I'm looking for the part number for an Eaton posi for a 10bolt with 28 spline axles and 3.42 gears. Anyone know the number and the best place to buy along with some superior axles?

I'm rebuilding my 10 bolt and throwing out the crappy peg legger 2.73 26 spline crap.

before spending all the money on the 10 bolt, see if you can find a deal on a decent used 12 bolt.
I had a built 10 bolt; Eaton Posi, 4.10 gears, Moser Axles, TA Cover with Stud kit, etc... About $1100 worth of parts, and my 305 destroyed it.

I ended up getting a used LS1 rear from my friends 01 SS, 3.42 with a Torsen diff for $150.
He went with a $3600 Moser 9".

I'm in the UK so finding a rear like that is not so easy and the shippingcosts, duty and VAT increase the cost further.
