T56 swap, need trans crossmember/driveshaft?
I am swapping a 95 LT1 from a 9C1 caprice cop car and a T56 from a 98 Camaro, and i was wondering if i'm going to need a new driveshaft and/or transmission crossmember to go with it? I've heard that the T56 sit further back and that i will need a new crossmember, im not sure though, any help is much appreciated

Did you bolt your T56 to the engine before u put it in because the 98 to 02 T56 have a longer input shaft then the 93-97 does unless the 98 bellhousing is longer just make sure it all fits before u install everything cuz that would suck if you do all that work and find out that it doesnt fit. I have seen pics of where guys used their original crossmember and welded a plate right behind the crossmember where the hole is and made a long slot for the t56 to fit on it because if i remember the t56 sits back like a couple inches.
