My 700r-4 transmission has a delay going into reverse like 5 sec when cold and slipping also forward is ok.when it gets warm it work alittle better.

forward and reverse are not the same clutches. when you "rebuilt" it, did you check clutch pack clearances or just throw it back together with replacement clutches?

Your best bet would be with the trans builder. He knows what is in it, what he did(or didn't do) and where to look. Gonna be tough to find an exact answere here. If it is slipping at all, and fluid level is good, you are gonna have heartburn regardless.
