SGI-5B Signal Noise
I'm using the Dakota Digital SGI-5B speedo signal converter to convert the vss signal from my T56 to my tbi ecm. Every so often my speedo jumps around. I figure i have a noisy ground or am picking up noise through my signal wires from the vss.
I have twisted the wires from the vss to the sgi box, as suggested in the directions, to help shield the signal with no luck.
Has anyone out there conquered this demon?

Not yet (have the same problem), but working on it. Thinking the wire needs to be shielded ub the ECM area, still trying to figure this one out.....

I was thinking about using some aluminum foil to wrap the signal wires to see if it would make a difference.
I also tried a 1 uf cap across the signal input and ground to see if i could isolate the noise. no dice.
