tranny cooling lines--which is in + out?

Transmission: 700 R4--modified
Axle/Gears: 4:10 Posi
tranny cooling lines--which is in + out?
Somebody refresh my memory PLEASE. On a 700R4, the 2 cooling lines on the passenger side of case, is it:
top line at tranny itself is return?
bottom line at tranny is send or pressure side?

Transmission: 4L60
Axle/Gears: 3.54 Dana 44
Bottom line is out from the transmission, into the cooler. Top line is out of the cooler into the transmission.

So the bottom line out of the tranny goes to the top of the rad,correct? Then bottom of rad goes in the top line on the tranny?
