Alright heres the deal. The guy that had my car before me installed a B&M mega shifter and I am sure he istalled it wrong because all of the gears are a little off of the position they should be in and I am wondering what all he screwed up. When the car is in OD it acts funny, like when I am cruising and let off of the gas the car drops down to idle instead of deccelerating like it should. ALso the car abosolutely will not shift from 3rd into OD no matter what I do. Ive tried going full throttle, half throttle, barely any throttle etc. and nothing works. However whenever I leave the car in drive the car acts perfectly normal and has pretty nice positive shifts. Could this problem be cause by the coverter not locking up. Please let me know what you think because I have to make a rather long trip on the freeway this weekend and it sucks cruising at 65mph in 3rd gear with 3.73 gears. I appreciatte any help I can get.

You mean when the shifter is in OD? That's perfectly normal. The overrun clutch that lets you coast while the shifter is in O/D. You'll get normal engine braking in other positions.
