Questions on Tremec TKO
I'm getting ready to order a TR3550 TKO. I know from reading the post that they are better then the WC T-5. Is there any problems with the install into an 82 that has a T-5 already installed. Should it be a direct bolt on or is there going to be problems that I need to be prepared for.. Thanks

I was reading some of the old post and they talked about an adapter plate to set the TKO up strait. Is that a must or can you bolt it at an angle?? Pro's and Con's Please...

Axle/Gears: 10 Bolt 3.73
My RS came with a T5 and I got the kit & trans(Tremec TKO) from Forte's. Kit makes it a bolt in deal.
There's a 1" thick adapter plate (that gets the trans vertical)
and spacers for the crossmember (has to be lowered about 3/4").
The factory bellhousing, hydraulics, clutch fork can be used.
Kit also has backup light switch and speed sensor cal'd for whatever rear gear you are running.
