Quarter stick
I know Hurst made a quarter stick console model but discontinued it. Does anyone have any pics of one installed in a thirdgen camaro? Or advise? Anything? I'm getting a little tired of my mega shifter.
Thanks guys

I have a B&M 1/4 stick in mine with a stock center counsole. You just have to make custome brackets, and it sits a bit higher than stock. So you have to give up you ash tray for the shifter cable.

i had put a B&M prostick in my 82 camaro... its almost the same shifter.
you need to go get some spacers to get it the correct height.... i first got a bunch of washers, stacked them up until i liked where the shifter sat, then i get spacers that size..
once its mounted solidly where i wanted it, i had to remove the ashtray, and radio, and i made a hole in the floorboard JUST under the face of the radio... thats the only way the cable is going to fit.
i plugged the old hole and used a new grommet for the cable...
for the console top, i got some black textured sheet plastic, i cut the stock ashtray part off the stock one and bolted it on... i then cut the sheet plastic to fit the remaning place........ then i just had to cut a hole for the shifter to move thru......
for the reverse lockout, i had to fab up a little extention handle... otherwise it was inside the center console and i couldnt reach it..
a lil more envolved, but well worth it for both the look and feel.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Really apretiate it. So I'd have to drill a new shifter cable location eh! Is that because the shifter sits so high? When you say you have to remove the ashtray and radio. Do you mean just for the intall? Or are they gone for good?
Any pics?
Thanks:hail:
