S10 t-5
I found a 92 T-5 out of a S10 truck on ebay, would it fit? and if it will, would it be any stronger than my stock T-5?
P.S. mine isn't a world class

first thing... if there is a picture see if the shifter lever is at THE VERY BACK or in the middle of the tranny.... If it's in the middle it WON'T fit with your car.... it's floor mount)
second thing, ask the seller if it was for a V-8 or a V-6... they have a different number of spindles, you NEED one for a V-8
third thing, it will probably be the SAME STRENGTH as the stock one IF NOT WEAKER.. Especially if yours is a BORG-WARNER (they are decent quality)
fourth, if you are planning on a 383 down the road and you want a NEWER tranny... look away from a T-5 (unless it's a racing T-5, like a "doug nash" or something) the stock ones can handle decent power (I have a stock T-5 with about 320 HP) HOWEVER,,, once you get to a certain level of performance (probably around 350 HP) with out a HEAVY DUTY RACING REBUILD the stock T-5 just wont hold up
Good Luck
