Hello, I've been having some trouble with the fuel system on my 87 Camaro, when I press down on the gas too quickly the car does not accelerate and hesitates for a moment before returning to normal. As well as this, after the car has been running for a bit the engine dies. The issue has been intermittent and I think it has something to do with the fuel system. I pulled the spark plugs and made sure they were fine and checked the knock sensor which was also fine along with the timing. I moved onto the fuel system and checked fuel pressure and the fuel pressure regulator which were good. I tested for continuity on each of the fuel injectors which all read around 16.5 but am thinking those might need to be replaced. My fuel pump is also delayed when it first primes and I usually won't hear it prime until after I crank it once, though I think this may be an issue with the relay. Just thought I'd reach out and see if anyone else may have encountered this issue/have any advice. Thanks!

Can you report the actual fuel pressure measurements? Stating that it is "good" can be very conditional.

Could be the fuel pump is weak. After they warm up they are notorious for stopping. Could also be a bad ground somewhere that isnt grounding the ECU. Injectors are probably old and all that but ok. Fuel pressure regulators can make the car run rich when idling but itll run like **** all the time... MAF meter could also be the problem, do you have a scanner?

Check you fuel pressure. Check timing with spout connector unplugged. Check TPS adjusted right. Check grounds real quick and report back. With actual numbers.
