Crane 2032 cam
I want to get a 2032 cam for my 88 L98. Can’t seem to find this camshaft. Looked at Summit, Jegs…. Even emailed a few places. Has it been discontinued?

ill will gladly take those other $.98 please expand. My goal was a cam i could upgrade to without having to change a lot of stuff. This may be stupid to many but my gta has the digital dash. Probably my favorite part of the car. I dont want to do something that would cause me to not be able to use it or have to replace it.

I think that cam is 214-220 @.050 and something like .452.460 lift. What mods are on the car now? Are you going to change springs and lifters with the cam change if you are using stock heads?
The guy I bought the car from had the 2032 cam in a 383 with AFR heads because he didn't want to pay for chip tuning.
You need to list out what you want to do with the car and go from there with a parts list.

All I have done at this point are headers, y-pipe, GMMG 3" exhaust. I also have a tune from Tuned Performance. She sounds great. My goal is to have a little more fun stop light to stop light. I want to keep the Dash intact. I would do springs and lifters if needed. I did not plan on changing heads but would port them if it would help. I am green. All your typical things one does to a car I can do. Oil, breaks, general maintenance etc. I have never and wouldn't try to put a cam in a car. I have a shop that I would trust to do the work but I don't feel like they are super knowledgeable on 30 year old tpi motors as far as being able to "engineer" a plan. They could certainly execute the plan. I am assuming these GM cams are no longer available to purchase?

Figured I'd revive this thread and post what I found with this cam. I bought it a few months ago for $165 canadian. friend of mine has 350 that we rebuilt going in his boat with vortec heads. I had a LT4 hotcam that i've had for years but it was out of his price range (hotcam is $600+ canadian now!!!) . anyway we installed today and put a degree wheel on it. Now keep in mind intake was already installed and i measured off the push rod with my dial indicator... I know not ideal, but still works. 202/210* duration @ 0.050". I installed a 2* offset key and got ICL 108* & ECL 117*. 112.5* LSA, lift was 0.300"/0.310" at the lifter. Good enough for what we are doing, but ~10* less than what is mentioned here.
My degree wheel made it in. With low lighting and cold temps I am coming up with 205-207 intake and 212-213 exhaust duration, I'll spend a little time in the daylight figuring it out tomorrow. Absolutely no way it is going to be that Crane with 214/220. (He measured the lift at .300/.310 or .450/.465 earlier)
