AIR system only to one side?
Hi!
I discovered that the air being pumped to the exhaust sytem/headers only goes to the left hand header. The connection on the right hand header is blinded. Is this correct?

Re: AIR system only to one side?
No, it should feed both sides. There's a crossover pipe that goes behind the engine.

Re: AIR system only to one side?
Hi! Okay, funny because mine ONLY feed the left side through the pipe behind the engine (AIR pump and valves being on the right side). Consequenses? Uneven temperature?
Thanks for helping!

Re: AIR system only to one side?
As far as I recall that Air pump system is primarily for emission testing. it only runs for a short time after start up to help clean up emissions etc. So if it isn't functioning so long as the holes in the manifold are capped off so air can't get in I don't think it not being connected will hurt anything.
