Few tweaks?

Ok so I have a hard starting problem, have to give it gas to start the car. I've followed the instructions to set iac and TPS is dead on, however I goofed on the fan switch it's too cold. So it's close but still not right and I know that. I have a 195 thermostat and plan on switching to a be cool 210 on 190 off switch. The one I have is for a 170 thermostat, I know, no closed loop at that temp. So that's a work in progress. However I have 3 other issues I'm not sure of.

1) O2 sensor is a 1 wire to a set of headers, considering a bosch 13077 3 wire heated O2 sensor instead.

2) when replacing the IAT i ended up switching to a solid probe because I couldn't find a open probe that would fit the plug in. Reason I bring this up is at about 65-70 degrees she runs like a raped ape when cold. I think I may have found an open probe but not sure if it will make a difference.

3) is mainly advice. EGR temp sensor is new but EGR is old, any tricks to get the EGR off? The 10mm bolts are short of impossible to get to. I've tried open end, closed end, line wrenches I can't get a good bite on it. I've replaced the cam and lifters, had the manifold off and still had no luck with the EGR. I did my best to clean it out when I had the manifold off but Id still like to know I can replace it if i need to. Or should I start dreaming of an edelbrock intake manifold

And thinking about it I have a 4) what is the closed loop temp? Can I get away with a 180 therm and the appropriate fan switch? I'm outside Phoenix AZ and it's gonna be hot soon, want to keep the car as cool as possible

Re: Few tweaks?

3 wire O2 is installed, new fan switch is in, and IAC and TPS have been carefully reset. Car starts on its own now. Put in a summit 140a alternator too but that was a different problem.

occasionally the bolts will corrode to the aluminum. when that happens just cut the EGR off with a saws all and then you can use a 6pt socket and some heat to get the bolts out
