TPI Throttle Body

Been searching the web trying to find a procedure/instruction on how to rebuild and/or port a TPI throttle body. Can anyone help?

Re: TPI Throttle Body

I'm not sure it's worth it for a stock TB. Ever noticed that he shaft has pressed on levers on both sides? So you'd have to deal with that. Then.. is there even enough metal there to bore it out for larger butterflies? Seems like it would just make more sense to get a larger aftermarket one rather than trying to modify the stocker.

Re: TPI Throttle Body

I think it's a bit more difficult if you don't have the right equipment to do the job right. There was a guy on ebay that was boring and rebuilding tb's a while back. I had him go through mine with no problems and it looks great. Others seemed to have a lot of issues getting their parts back. Either way it is possible and nice if you like the factory look. In the end it's just smarter to buy one off the message boards, not like they're rare or expensive anymore.
