Transmission: 5 speed
8.8 Grade bolts

Will 8.8 grade bolts suffice for the TPI runners to the plenum and to the intake?

The 8.8 has a tensile strength of 116,000 psi (pound per square inch). The grade 10.9 is used where high strength is required. The 10.9 grade bolt is rated at 175,000 psi.
You can use the 8.8

I'd say, you could bolt the runners to a truck and use it in truck pulls.
