Hello. Just some general questions. New to the F Body family

My name is Michael and I just picked up a 91 Trans Am 5 speed. I've sifted through tons of threads on this forum and it seems in comparison to all the other 3rd gens... there is very little information on the 91-92 Banshee style. I'm completely new to V8's and new to American Pony/Muscle.

Some basic things I'd appreciate help with are the following.

1. What kind of numbers do the 91-92 5 speeds put down? In 90 or 91 they got the speed density thing which supposedly helped. The only listed stock times I found were for pre 1991's and they were low 15's. Do the 5 speed 91's break into mid-high 14's stock? Do they have good potential even if I don't swap up to a 350 (Most swap.. but someone told me the 5 speeds have a lot more potential than automatics).

2. I keep seeing all this stuff about poor flowing heads on 305 TPI's but from my understanding 90 and up got bigger heads?

3. Did I get a good year by picking up a 91? I had honestly never in my life seen this body style but happened to find one on a lot. Got it for 4500 and besides being high mileage (170k) it's in superb shape according to a mechanic. Motor in fantastic shape, new paint job. Only flaws mechanically are I need to lube up my suspension because it squeeks over bumps. I got the WS6 racing suspension.

4. What gear ratio do I have? On the chart on this website I can't tell if the 5 speed Trans Am (non GTA, non Formula) came with 3.08 or 3.42. I know I can jack up the car but my jack is broken right now so just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head. I have a feeling gears would really wake my car up because when I left off the throttle... it bogs down and resists SO much. On the same chart I can't tell if I have the 285 tq model or the 300 tq one.

My goals for this car are basically to run low 13's (don't need anything crazy, just quicker than most street cars). I just want a good 250-300 whp, reliable daily driver.

I'm truly sorry if I posted this in the wrong place or if these are questions you guys have heard 10,000 times. As I said in the beginning I've had a VERY difficult time finding decisive information on the 91-92 Trans Am. I'm also coming from turbo cars with my STI, SRT4 and turbo S2000 I had. So not at all familiar with the all motor route on things. With a turbo... a simple dyno tune can get you 50 hp/50 torque without any mods and I know N/A isn't the same. Thank you so much for those that take the time to read this and help me.
