305 tpi to 350 tpi ?
okay i bought a 1988 iroc with a swapped 350 if they didnt swap out the prom would that keep me from passing ca smog. right now its running really rich i just changed the egr valve about 4 days ago. the car runs really strong no vacuum leaks but running rich wanna know if its because im using a 305 prom

I'm no expert, but I'd think it's a high probability. You also need a 350 knock sensor with that 350 prom - different knocks between 305 and 350.

I see I am a little late, but maybe i can help a little... I also live in cali. I had no problems somgging my car ('87 iroc tpi)... Its a 305 to 350 swap with a LT1 cam... still using the stock 19# injectors and stock 305 prom... i did swap to a 350 knock sensor, but am still running the 305's ESC... hope this helps...
