Part upgrade (headers,exhaust etc.)
Hi!
The winter project list is finally done, and I just want to share and see if theres something I have forgotten or if ive chosen wrong catalytic converter (I will still use AIR on the car so thats why Ive chosen a cat with air and headers with air inlets)
Complete list (so far...) will order it on the coming friday
Also I will be needing to buy new sparkplug wires, I have the 8.5mm MSD Super Conductor wires now with some 90deg boots and some straight..
With these headers I think ill be needing all 90deg boots right ? to be able to lead the wires away from the headers and make it look nice with those wire looms on the valve covers. (thinking of these : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-31839/ )
Anything else I need to be buying ? do I need 2 sets of locking bolts or does 1 package cover both sides ? the kit includes 12 bolts..
Thanks in advance!

I will be ordering this cat instead : http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MPE-36019/
instead of the above one, I think I got everything covered right?
Some special gaskets needed for the headers or something ? or will felpro work fine ?
Dont wannt redo this cause of bad gaskets etc..

No one here speaks Svenska ?
I don't know, but it looks like it all should work, at least for your emissions purposes.
Every time I have bought exhaust parts, the fastening hardware (nuts & bolts) are never to my standards. I always end up at the hardware store buying all stainless bolts, nuts, washers, and locking washers for any exhaust project.
I always use a flat stainless washer against the base material (flange), then a stainless lock-ring washer between that and the bolt head, - plus high-temp antiseize on everything.
For gaskets I have good results with Fel-Pro blue at the header flange, but for all the other couplings I have to use pure metal gaskets - dead-soft aluminum or copper, or they always burn out.
I hate exhaust leaks, and I like to be able to get everything back apart later on without running into problems.
