wats up guys i got a 86 trans am tpi I have had the car sittin for about 3 months and put in a cam, double roller timing chain, edlebrock intake manifold, and slp runners dui distributor pretty much the newest thing that i have put on. she jus aint startin for me jus crank and cranks but wont fire put starter fluid in the throttle body and nothin i am havin a leak that goes from the cold start out into the pcv line of fuel so i found that really wierd but lookin at the old manifold they are connected. the fuel pressure is not stayin it drops from 50 down not really fast but not slow either. the way i timed the car was wait for the #1 cylinder to be at tdc about 4* btdc on the timing mark then according to the chilton to adjust the valve and rotate the motor 1 revolution to adjust the rest of the vavles at 0.... any suggestions where to go back and check out try and fix would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Bump.... I still have yet to get this thing started and its startin to frustrate me now anyone has any idea to get this thig to turn over i would appreciate it thanks.

here is wat i got goin now.... i got spark but it doesn seem to be strong and im gettin fuel pressure stayin constant but when we plugged in a tester to the injector connectors the light was very weak... i have had a couple people suggest that the computer might be fried... does anyone have any thoughts to that if so how do i check the computer see if it is the problem thanks.

you know i just had to solve something very similar today try to pull a code if you dont get the 12 code from the ecm than something is most likely wrong with it also do you get a normal engine light at the ignition spot when you turn the key just before stating (also if you dont get a engine light at all the engine light bulb may be burt out so dont go buying an ecm if you dont get a light) if you do get light and the normal 12 code than i dont know any other way to test the way we used to test ecms was to squeeze them when it was running if it stalled it was bad but being you cant get it to run it dosent help

code 12 does flash when i jump the terminals idk wat would cause the car to not get a big spark and why the light would be so dim when we plugged the injector wires into it.
