My Lil 305 Cam Swap
Hi I was jus wondering how this set up will do. I have ran a constant 15.0 in the quarter mile in a 1986 5.0 tpi and was hoping with a new cam and intake manifold get to 14.3-14.5 would be a good goal to set with wat i have done. So far this is wat I have done switched from 2.77 to 3.27, accel 19lbs injectors, dui hei distributor, accel shrty plugs, msd wires, hooker 2055 headers, high flow cat, bbk afpr and fuel pump, 1.6 roller tipped rockers, doube roller timing chain, bbk underdrive pullies, ported and siamesed my plenum slp runners and edlebrock high flow base, cam specs including the 1.6 lift is 450/472 duration is 204/214 @.50. curious to see wat it will do almost done with it, tell me wat you think.

Re: My Lil 305 Cam Swap
2800 stall speed and drag radials out back. If you dont get mid 14's out of that setup with new intake and that cam with a tune to match, somethings wrong.
Your biggest ET gain will definatley be the 2800 stall on good tires. 1.7x 60's shouldnt be a problem with TPI
Is it an aftermarket/custom 2.5" catback or something right now? 3" wouldnt be a bad idea and give room for future mods like a new 350 or nitrous setup

Re: My Lil 305 Cam Swap
I would go to 3" when you can. Let's get her going again and see what she does and then do the exhaust and see what you gain/lose
