88 IROC and I am lost
I have a bone stock 88 IROC 350, all emissions equipment is in place.
The engine starts and runs great.
Has no power, stalls when put in gear, when warmed it misses horribly when the acelerator is pressed. No trouble code.
I have checked the TPS calibration, changed MAF sensor, checked timing, checked fuel pressure and all are good.
The car was running fine when I moved from TX to SC. It sat for two months and when started to load on the truck for transport this started.
I don't know what else to check any and all suggestions will be followed.
I am sending it to a shop this week if I can't resolve, so please help. I don't mind paying the bill but much prefer to do the work myself. It is just appropriate for us to work on these cars ourselves.
Thanks a ton.

ohm the injectors when the engine is cold, and again when the engine is up to temp. When was the last time the o2 sensor was changed?

How old is the gas? Some fresh gas would be an easy place to start..

Re: 88 IROC and I am lost
I just bought a bone stock 88 Iroc that was sitting in storage for 5 years. Drained the old gas, put a fresh tank of 91 octane, and it ran just like your does. Multiple mis-fire, dies when it was cold, and no power. I replaced the plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, oil change and it runs great now. Now I just gotta get it to pass smog, I just picked up a new EGR Valve hopefully that'll get the Nox down to a passable level. Good luck!
