Car: 1991 camaro z28
Engine: 305cu/tpi
Transmission: auto
will my 305 tpi set up work on this engine
i have no clue but will this engine work in 91 z with my 5.0 tpi set up on it or will i have to convert my car to carb? Thanks for the help. http://paceperformance.com/index.asp...D&ProdID=22746

you will have to buy a vortec TPI intake base to make it work, everything else will bolt up.

the cam will it work with my computer, distributor everything? I mean everything. I am really cluessless about engine stuff as far as swapping. all I have to do is bolt my stuff on.

That engine also uses a flat-tappet cam: yuck. Stick with hydraulic roller cams, they're much better in terms of longevity, gas mileage, emissions, and horsepower.
And you should never have to downgrade your car to carb. There arent as many TPI friendly combos out there anymore, since our cars are 20+ years old, but there have been many combos posted on these boards over the years. You just have to open up your wallet.
