Fuel Pump sending unit to -AN fitting
Is there any reason I cannot use the same fitting most people use from the hardline in the engine bay to braided -AN line that Earl's makes...but use it as the fuel line comes out of the tank? (connection right above rear end)
I want to run the lines towards the outside of the car and not through the tunnel..but don't want to sump the tank at this point either.
Would this work??

I broke the tubing to install an external fuel pump and filter. The only concern with braided hose is leakage. The pressure is not a problem.

Re: Fuel Pump sending unit to -AN fitting
From I have read ( and I could be wrong ) the compression/Swagelock type tubing fittings to go to -AN are only good below 40psi. I was planning on using a compression fitting going back into the tank on the return side because the pressure should be lower...
Has anybody tried this special fitting from Earl's?
