How much time to...

About how long would the typical home mechanic (with a garage and tools) to swap heads, cam, intake & headers on an L98 Formula? I haven't done anything like that it over 10 years

48 hrs??!!! are you nuts?? he has to take all that stuff of to put the cam in anyhow. so after he gets his cam in he just puts on his new parts. it shouldn't take more time than a regualar cam swap. i'm guess 8-12hrs.

Depends how hard you work at it, it took me about 8 hours to pull the intake and reinstall it. I was not pushing so it was like 2 days. If you let me know I will help, it's easier with 2 people and you could do it at my house.

It took me about 22 hours to swap cams with the motor in the car the last time I did it and I work very slow, but I know what I am doing.

Your additional work to do everything that you are propose involves only removing and installing the heads. If I were doing this job, I would take about 25 hours of total work.
