tpi swap wiring questions (searched)
hey guys i have a 87 l98 tpi system im gonna swap into my 84 Z28 any way i have the harness laid out so i could label all the connectors for sensors etc
here is the only problem i have where does the ecm b+ power into terminal B1 and C16 where does that power come INTO the harness?? it does not come in through the clear connector at the ecm (the one that integrates with the body harness ) becuase i checked for continuity and there was none now the pink/black ign 12v input does come in through that body connector
the only connector that has continuity to the two B+terminals is a pink connector near the injector area but it also has a tan/white wire in it too ??
can anyone help me please

you need a service manual to look at the wiring, that cars harness does not have all the power wires for the tpi harness due to it being a carb car, you need to wire the power in yourself for the ecm and injector power and some other wires.

thats what im saying where on the 87 tpi harness is the power connection (orange wires to b1 and c16 ) if i know where power in goes i have no problem finding a way to get power to it (fuse off battery or alt post etc etc) the only place i have continuity to the orange wires is at the funky pink two terminal connector (orange and tan/white) are you familiar with that connector its like the only one that is not black or gray
ps thanks 86z some of your post have already helped as you did a similar swap to mine

i did the speed density swap so the wiring is a little different, i believe the orange wire on the maf harness is like the carb one, fusible link directly to the battery, the tan/wht wire is power for the fuel pump relay.
