Car: 88 Formula, 72 Nova, 68 Chevelle
Engine: L98, mild 350, L79 327
Transmission: 700R4, M20, M20
Axle/Gears: 9b 327,10b 373, 12b 331
l98 timing for speed

have a 88 l98 car , with premium fuel how far should i advance the timing for better times?

Car: 1987 IROC, 1989 IROC
Engine: built 305, stock 305 tpi
Transmission: Corvette 700r4, t-5
Axle/Gears: 4.10 posi, 3.08 posi
Make sure the EST is disconnected and i would say advance it to 10-12 degrees. You could also advance it until it pinged and then back it off about 2 degree's.

I'd move it 2 degrees at a time, and check your speed at the strip. Speed equals power.
