Unless done right, removing the A/C can look like a real hack job. There are plenty of fast cars out there that have A/C. It's called having your cake and eating it too...

I pulled mine out for the simple reason that it looks like crap. It was pretty easy to do, and I don't see any reason anyone would make a hack-job out of it.
That being said, it's NOT a daily driver, and I do show it.
It has nothing to do with power or performance, and I would NOT pull it out on my daily driver.

Depends upon one's attention to detail, I guess.

I would never remove the ac from my ride. I agree with the "Having your cake and eating it too" theory. Nothing better than sitting in the staging lanes on a 99 degree day and flipping the air on!

I live on the west coast of Canada where I need my air conditioning for cooling only a few days of the year. However, the dry air from the air conditioning helps with defogging the windows many days of the year. I will keep mine for as long as it works. I just finished reading a book about Texas, which indicated how hot it gets down there. I would keep it.

Thanks, I get it now.

i live in FL, and took it off on my daily driver mainly to have more room to work on under the hood. at that time i was preparing to put headers in, so i knew things would be tight with the A/C there. well now i wish i had never taken it out. i dont race anymore so i dont spend as much time under the hood anymore, so having the room isnt as important.
i would keep it

I would keep my A/C. Sure ya got T Tops, but hey, it sure is hot in Texas. It is even hotter with that sun beating down on ya with the tops off. Me, there is nothing cooler than driving 120 MPH with the A/C pumping Ice Cubes out the Dash Vents.

Keep it if it works and you are not into the 'more power' bug. I live on the east coast of Canada and we don't need it here for 10 months out of the year. As we like to say here..."this is Newfoundland, not Disneyland, what do you need A/C for?!" LOL!
