Modeling FI Induction with Desktop Dyno 2000

I am in the process of evaluating different engine combos with Desktop Dyno 2000. How should I model different FI intakes such as TPI, SuperRam, StealthRam, or MiniRam to get the most accurate results from each? Can the differences between these intakes be accurately modeled?

Since there are no specific flow numbers or anything of that nature, you are only left with the options they give you. You can see when you use TPI on DD2000 the low end jumps and its dies up top, because of the long tube runners. The other intakes you are talking about have varying runner lengths, I even thing the miniram has shorter runner than a Victor jr, which is a single plane. And the Stealth ram is built out of a tunnel ram,but I would use single plane for the short runners, remembering DD2000 isnt 100% accurate.

I have found that to get DD2000 to come near real world results you will have to use "HP manifolds" when you run headers because small tube headers gives way to much HP. Also I always have to keep the cam listed as a hydraulic, even if it is a roller. Always use .050 specs on your cam to be exact. Last you need to find typical flow numbers from your heads and enter them.

I have flow data for the heads I'm looking at, but it seemed like an exercise in futility without also modeling the intake system accurately. Thanks for the advice.
