adjustable fuel pressure regulator

hi i have a couple of questions, frist off iam getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and going to install it on my 91 305, auto. iam running it at the stock 42 psi right now but i have upgraded to 24pound injectors and also got a chip burnt for the 24 pound injectors. i have most of the bolt ons like headers, power pullies, air foil and things liek that but was now wondering what i should set the psi to once i install the adjustable? i red the facts on the site and they say that a stock 350 can go up too 50 psi so i was wondering if i should set mine to 48psi. i drive in the city alot and on the highway a couple of times a month, so iam looking for driveablity and power. now my second question is should i install a site gauge and leave it on the fuel rail or just set it and take it off, i have seen the ones forsale that stay on and also the lones just to set it and then it comes off, thanx for the help

Hey billy.
Your best bet man is to test and tune. There really is no magic number for the fuel pressure rating. Every car is different. How come you decided to go with 24 pound injectors? Those are really big even for some 350's. With them your car might run to rich.
Good luck with your set up. And remember to use the search.
