22# Injectors on a 305
Would 22# injectors work on my 305 with the setup that I have?What would be the effect of switching? I am running rich right now and I think it is due to leaking injectors so I was thinking of replacing them with 22#.

What kind of gains could I get from them? I'm just wondering if it is worth it. I haven't checked into any prices yet.

Not sure about what u'll see on a dyno, but..
You should feel a more crisp throttle response at the very least.. it's definitely not a "make or break" mod for the track, but it should produce a noticeable difference..

I believe you will need to recalibrate your ECM otherwise its caculations would be in error when controlling the larger injectors. Otherwise you probably won't notice any gain in performance at all with larger injectors.

You will definately have to burn a new chip for the larger injectors. The stock injectors are 19 pph andthe prom is calibrated for them, put in 22 pph and you'll really be running rich, burn your eyes at cold idle rich.

I am looking into the whole programming thing. I waiting to find out something about this "Real Time Programming" that is being talked about on the DIY PROM board. But I will be getting into the programming soon.

I've got 19# SVO's in my more or less stock 305. I haven't had the chance to get into prom burning yet, so I'm running an off the shelf Ed-Wright chip. The SVO's flow like 21# injectors in GM cars. I actually picked up 4 tenths of a second with just the injectors. I'm pretty sure there were problems with the stock injectors to do something like that.
When I had a bad vacuum leak, my eyes burned at idle. Once I fixed that, it wasn't too bad and my eyes haven't burned since.
