Stealth Ram flow #'s & Gasket sizing...

Hey guys,
Could anyone measure their Stealth Ram's intake manifold port sizes? I've got some AFR 210's ported to a Felpro 1206 intake manifold gasket, and was wondering if the Stealthram could be ported to match. The LT1's are a stretch, as is the SuperRam that's on there currently. I know the MiniRam II can be ordered that way, but I'd like to avoid the flow distribution issues with big cfm airflows. Does anyone also have flow numbers? I'm concerned about this being a bottleneck compared to an EFI'd Victor Junior or the Accel single plane efi. Yes, I have searched the archives Thanks!

Andris, in unported condition the stealth ram is supposed to flow approximately 300cfm. I've heard that it can easily be ported to match a 1205 and if I recall correctly, may need additional material welded to match a 1206. For a better answer, try posting in the EFI board of chevytalk.org. The moderator there is a Holley guy that's involved in the development of the stealthram.

Hey check it out, I did like a quick measure, don't know how accurate this is, but I put up a set of intake manifold gaskets, and it's like a perfect match. It's like their ported to the size of a gasket, a did a little comparison to a extra set of heads, and it the ports look like the same also. Like I said I didn't get bust out the tape measure just looked by eye and compared.

Clevite 44456qp, those are the gaskets that he has. And that was the one that I compare to the SR and it was almost a perfect macth. The SR's ports are hugh compare to the stock tpi. Oh those gaskets came in some kind of kit or something like that, thats the part number off the gasket. Wish I could be more help.

Wait a minute. It really isn't a big issue going from a bit smaller port into a larger port. Yes, it isn't ideal, but it isn't a restriction like going from a bigger port to a smaller port.

I don't think the difference from a 1205 to a 1206 is that huge. I have wrestled with this same thing because I have a SR, an Edelbrock Hi-Flo Baseplate and I just bought the Pro Action heads (yes they require the 1206)

After talking to a few local people here, I should be ok. It isn't like the fuel will completely drop out of the stream and puddle at the start of the intake runner.

I am going to port match to the 1205 and use the 1206....I am not going to add material to the intake baseplate.
