With great power comes great responsibility. I was thrilled when he took the car for a run. This was my third year at Thirdgen Fest and it was nice to see Steve take it on the road. I was even more impressed by how he drove the car. This car was built for the strip. To go out on a back road and drop a hard run with people standing on both sides of the car is stupid. He took the responsible route and still showed me how quick his car is.

Year after year Steve has helped us 'younger’ crowd tune up our cars. heh, I'm the last person to impress. My exit from TGF was by far the most boring. My GTA just silently putts away with a single steam trail from it's solitary tail pipe... I watched it on youtube last night and even bored myself...

Steve has been very helpful and we all appreciate his contribution. I've even stated that earlier in this thread. I've never meant to belittle that fact, or make this a personal thing against him. This was meant to be car-guy calling out car-guy on a car-guy topic. I've used poor judgement in making this a pissing match. If I had a question I should have sent Steve a PM instead of creating a spectacle.

I have big respect for Steve #1 he knows his **** and anyone that says he doesn't or is making excuses is foolish for saying it. Burn out no burn out that was the most I have ever seen his car drive and it was a honor to see what he has accomplished over the years com to life. Who else can say they hand bent his headers.... Probably no one that was there.
