WTB: V8 Camaro parts car
I'm looking for so many bits and pieces it probably easier to get a whole vehicle.
Would prefer an older (pre 87) original V8 carbed vehicle.
Specifically I require:
Chassis portion of the engine mount,
Rear sway bar,
Engine wiring harness,
etc...
I'm only looking to spend a couple of hundred dollars so I'm not interested in anything that still has a lot a value left. No engine or trans needed. Don't care about the sheet metal either.
Parts or whole.
Thanks.

Try contacting "6six6" here or over on www.ccfbg.com
I know he has many parts available.
Have you posted this request over on ccfbg yet?

I have spoken with 1fun zed a couple of times. I can't recall his connection to CCFBG however we had talked about the club in general.
I never thought to check them out for local (to me) parts.
If my Coupe is completed in time for the last few weeks of the season (at Cayuga) I may check out a meeting of theirs. Are you a member?
Thanks for the heads up Project.

I've been a proud "member" of ccfbg for a few years. Paid members get discounts from suppliers and club sponsors.
However, you do not need to be a "member" to sign up on their forum or even to attend their shows and particpate.
If you need parts, best thing to do is sign up "for free" on their forum and post (ask) if anyone has the parts you need.
They have a "for sale" parts section as well as a "parts wanted" section at the bottom of their forum (message board) page. Also, some knowledgeable guys there to help out with questions.
Nothing like having resources in your own back yard.

Re: WTB: V8 Camaro parts car
That's for sure.
I'm fortunate in that I have a good friend who works in the states and commutes every couple of weeks or so. I literally have a carload of parts from Jegs and Summit that come in duty free and tax free.
I have what's becoming a short list of oddball items though. Throttle cable, fuel tank bulhead connector, etc. I'll check out CCFBG and see what there is.
Thanks again.

Re: WTB: V8 Camaro parts car
Managed to find a lot of parts.
So far I've scored 34 and 24mm sway bars, a wonder bar, throttle cable and a master cylinder/prop valve from a factory equipped 4 wheel disc car.
At another stop I picked up an A/C delete heater box, fan and fan shroud and trans connector w/ vacuum switch for my 700.
No need for a parts car now.
