Just got back - ALthough GM fitted the bill for me, I wouldn't recommend going. I was bored. Got some neat pics of some concepts, but overall the show is not worth the $. Many of the cars have had soo much press that you get more info and better pics of the cars from the journalists. Waiting for person x y and z to get out of your way so that you can attempt to get decent shot(s) of car become a royal PIA.
HOWEVER,
It was nice to see Sinister's yellow Z28 and another thirdgen camaro on display. If you want to see any pics of the new charger,(that car is very cool and I wouldn't be surprised if it out sells the new camaro) Ford GT, the Ron Fellows signature series ZO6, or???
I have to also add that the German displays were very cool, and the Italian eye candy was great to see - got some pics from those displays as well - just let me know and I will post. Andrew

We had a gr8 time, the wife got to sit on the door sill of a Mercialago. Lots to see and do and worth the $ in mho.

Are they any sorta requirements as to becoming a member? Are any of your sponsors shops that do engine swaps by any chance...

just log on to the boards, I believe membership costs about 15 bucks a year(you do not need this if you want to just visit the forum). As for shops that do engine swaps, there might be one or 2, but trigger can answer that better than i can.

Where is the 40th going to be? And when is it exactly? Is that the event sort of being put on by GM, out of Detroit? The TA Nats are the weekend of Aug 24-26 I believe. I thought the only big conflicting show was Corvette's at Carlile?

Ok, just saw. That's the show I read about in Pontiac Enthusiast magazine a few issue's ago. I was mentioning it to Hylton. It's on the 9th of Aug.
PLENTY of time to get ready for the Nationals lol. And the best part about the 9th show, is it's in Detroit - not really that far from you guys at all. Ken and I are going down to the Firebird Gathering in Dundee MI. in June, also just a hop, skip, and jump across the border.
That 9th show does sound good too though..... maybe get a bunch going from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding and all hook up along the way. Would be one site to see on the 401 for sure.
